Styrian chili

Chili

  • 3 TBSP sunflower oil
  • 250 g onions
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 350 g Steirerkraft canned scarlet runner beans PDO
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 150 g sweet corn
  • 150 g diced pumpkin or carrots as an alternative
  • 500 g diced tomatoes
  • 1 TBSP tomato puree
  • 1 diced yellow pepper
  • add chili pepper to taste

Spices

  • salt, cayenne pepper
  • soup seasoning

Preparation

  1. Peel the onions and garlic, finely chop and roast until golden brown in the heated oil. Add the minced meat to brown. Then add the diced tomatoes, tomato puree, canned Steirerkraft scarlet runner beans, sweet corn with liquid, diced pepper and pumpkin.
  2. Now season to taste with the spices. Cook the Styrian chili at a low temperature for 20 minutes.

 

Serving suggestion

Tastes great with fresh Styrian farmhouse bread.
